Steel repairs:
We perform all types of steel repairs, internal or external. Several projects have included large renewals of steel. Through our intuitive approach, we look at solutions in carrying out repairs as efficient as possible considering all operational safety aspects of the repairs. Marine Trade is specialized for ultrasonic control of steel plates and boiler tubes thickness.

Main and aux. engines overhaul and repairs:
Our focus is on quick turnaround of aux. engines and thorough inspection and overhaul of main engines including turbo-charger servicing, servicing of governors, pneumatic remote control systems. This has included extensive overhauls and inspection of several large slow speed diesel engines during dry-docks. We are ready to meet any emergency and scheduled repair requirements.

Hydraulic repairs:
Hatch and crane, power stations, pump systems, replacement of pipes and tubing, valve and valves control systems.

Boiler re-tubing and repairs:
Repairs have included several exhaust gas economizers and Sunrod type boilers. Recent repairs include complete renewal of two exhaust gas economizers.

Pipe repairs and installations:
Our pipe-fitters are highly experienced (ex Romanian and Croatian shipyard workers) in any type of field replacement and repairs of piping of any type of material. Common jobs performed are external piping replacement, engine
room and ballast tank piping renewals.

Electrical repairs:
Full electro-services, refrigeration, generator, re-cabling...
Our team of electricians has been engaged in a variety of electrical repairs:
Bridge Navigation equipment servicing including automatic steering systems,
Projecting and installation of electronic systems.

Machine shop:
Our machine shop in the city of Split is fully equipped with most up-to-date equipment. Mig, tig, plasma cutting and specialized welding for higher tensile steel, spray welding, turbo-charger casing repairs, exhaust valve housing repairs, fuel injector spindle guide reconditioning, pump shaft and impellers reconditioning... Our reconditioned items are produced to original dimensions and tolerances with added anti-corrosion and anti-wear characteristics.

1. Dry-dock specifications, preparing and planning
In meeting the demand for outsourcing of dry-dock activities,we offer our
services in preparing and planning of docking requirements. Our program
is focused on the approach of what should be done during voyage and
what should be done during off-hire time in dry-dock. In creating a
balance between the two sides, cost effective solutions are achieved.
Fitters, welders and unskilled personnel are ex Romanian and Croatian
shipyard professionals.
Marine Trade is well connected with repair/dry docking yards in Portugal,
Croatia, Romania and Montenegro.
2. Shipyard repair supervision
In follow-up to our dry-dock programs, we can provide the necessary
supervision to successful docking and repairs.
3. Vessel purchase inspections, condition assessment
With our experience from working within ship management, we offer
complete inspections for pre-purchase or condition assessment.
4. New construction supervision
We offer well experienced personnel for the new buildings supervision
at shipyards in Croatia, Korea and Japan.
