Shortage of skilled Deck and Engineering Officers is an inevitable future of marine crewing. The Career Planning and Development Program for Croatian merchant marine officers is a product that makes Marine Trade the only company specialized in that field.
The main features of the program are consultative services for prospective nautical schools students and follow up services for full time students. In order for us to select the best students, there is a need for close cooperation between Marine Trade and Croatian nautical schools.
Today it is evident that such a cooperation is at a high level. The program has been evaluated and accepted with the nautical schools of Split, Dubrovnik and Rijeka. Graduates and students of the above mentioned colleges are ready to sign the contracts with prospective clients and create a long-term relationship. Apart from advisory services available to schools and students alike, Marine Trade's task is to ensure their employment with the distinguished shipping companies.
